Mohit Sodhi, BSc, MSc and MD candidate (2024) is a 2nd year medical student at the University of British Columbia. He is a seasoned researcher in pharmaco-epidemiology. He has published over 25 peer reviewed manuscripts, many of which are published in some of the top medical journals in the world including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Chest. His work has also been featured in several national and international media outlets including the New York Times, Yahoo News, Reuters, and the Daily Mail. During his master’s degree, he was also awarded the Governor General’s Gold Medal, the most prestigious award a Canadian student can receive.
Mohit also enjoys giving back to his community. He is the Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of the YNOTFORTOTS Society, a local charity that provides much needed equipment for underfunded schools in the lower mainland. He is also the Chief Operating Officer of the STEM Fellowship, a nationally recognized charity that provides STEM learning opportunities for thousands of students in Canada.
