Michael Seres Human Health and Medical Annovation Ambassador
After a long battle with his health, Michael Seres has sadly passed away. He was an immensely generous and inspiring man. It was an honour to work with him. Michael was Founder and CEO of 11Health, an organisation which offers connected medical smart care using patients as coaches. He was considered one of the strongest patient voices and patient advocates in the world, moreover was an accomplished speaker and co-facilitator on Patient Leadership programme at Centre For Patient Leadership and Patient lead for #nhssm.
Michael was the inaugural Stanford Medicine X Entrepreneur in Residence 2015. He was the 2012 E-Patient scholar at Stanford University *Medicine X Conference.
Michael was Executive Committee member of Oxford Transplant Foundation responsible for developing the Oxford Transplant centre web presence, building social media strategies and online communities.
He was “Patient Voice” ambassador for National Campaign for Better standards of food within the NHS. The campaign focuses delivering mandatory standards of hospital food.
As ideaXme Ambassador for Health and Medical Innovation he interviewed healthcare and health innovators across the world. One of the most notable interviews was with John B Charles, head of human health at NASA.
