Mohammad Asadi-Lari
Mohammad is Co-Founder of the STEM Fellowship at the University of Toronto, a TEDx speaker, 3M National Student Fellow, Governor General’s bronze academic medal recipient, UBC Faces of Today Leadership awardee, Society for Scholarly Publishing Fellow, 2018 RBC Top 25 Immigrant Finalist and winner of both national and international scientific Olympiad medals. We are very sad to announce that Mohammad passed away in a tragic accident. He will be sorely missed.
Mohit Sodhi
Mohit is a graduate researcher in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at UBC. He is the Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of the YNOTFORTOTS Society, a local charity that provides much needed equipment for underfunded schools in the lower mainland. He is also the Associate Managing Director of the STEM Fellowship.
Spectra Magazine
Spectra Magazine is an online magazine aiming to enhance public understanding of science and shape the narrative of science journalism in Pakistan. Spectra not only aspires to be a successful science publication but also aims to be the training bed of next generation of science journalists in Pakistan by means of its carefully calibrated training programs.
Marios Kyriazis, MD
Dr. Marios Kyriazis was awarded Man of the Year (Scientist) 2017, and Recommended for Nomination, Nobel Prize in Medicine 2017. Apart from a career in acute clinical medicine, Marios also works as a biomedical gerontologist, antiageing physician and theorist in extreme longevity.
Alan is senior advisor on marketing communications to ideaXme and founder of Tribal Hearts, a new cutting edge creative and marketing consultancy.
He has over 30 years of experience spanning both advertising and digital agencies and received more than 30 awards. .
Alan has also launched a digital start-up in the collector’s sector in 2011, growing the social media following to over 1.9m followers.
He has lectured in digital strategy at London University for an MBA course in 2012. Alan has been a speaker at many global events around the world focusing on emerging media including conferences at Google Headquarters in London, New York City, and Dubai.
Lastly, he is a keen street photographer and exhibited his work in many countries.
MetFilm School and ideaXme Ltd collaborate.
Both organisations began their collaboration with the filming by Metfilm students of the ideaXme interview with Tamara Rojo, Lead Principal Dancer and Artistic Director of the English National Ballet.
MetFilm School is a leading film, television, and online media school offering undergraduate, postgraduate and short courses across various craft areas. The school has campuses in London and Berlin.
