Pamela Kensley, ideaXme ambassador
Pamela Kensley is the Co-Founder of CBTC INTL, Cormorant by the Coast, a small business with a mighty mission. Working with her daughter, their “designs that make a difference,” along with collaborations and partnerships, work to support global Change Makers and Game Changers. Moved and mindful of the SDG’s, our personal and professional actions and activism strive to #ChangeItForward for future generations. Cormorant by the Coast, a brand that honors heritage and home, pays homage to the poignant and powerful influence of her Norwegian grandmother. The inaugural collection focused on coastal stewardship and also included focus on raising awareness as to the importance of carbon sequestration. The current collections reflect zero waste circular fashion that is ethically and sustainably sourced and powered by renewable energy. This small brand continues to do better as they expand. Pamela Kensley previously has worked as an educator and educational leader whose career spanned over three decades. She has also worked in partnership with local merchants in the creation of a magazine promoting the versatility of life in a coastal community. Her activism includes anti-bullying campaigns, shifting mindsets in creating an inclusive, equitable and healthy environment, and fundraising for organizations committed to doing the work needed to #ChangeItForward. It is in raising an independent daughter, though, that she is most proud of.
