Today we are going to journey into the fascinating area of wellness and preventive medicine.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that 90% of the US$3.5 trillion in U.S. healthcare costs are due to chronic medical conditions, many which we have spoken about on the show (i.e. heart disease, stroke, cancer, obesity, Alzheimer’s, etc.) and that proper preventative actions could do amazing things in terms of reducing costs and improving quality of life.
