Welcome to ideaXme

ideaXme is a global podcast, available in 40 countries worldwide, a creator series and mentor programme. We harness the power of people who shape our world to share knowledge of the future and Move the human story forward!™.

About

Like all ideas, ideaXme started as an experiment, just an idea! Our objective, to discover if the creators and pioneers who shape our world would like deeper connections with people whose lives their ideas and activities affect. We asked them to consider, a home where they sit alongside other creators to magnify the impact that they have on our world.

Galton Blackiston is a Michelin Star Celebrity chef and owner of Morston Hall. He is ideaXme mentor for the rising stars in the world of Haute Cuisine.

In 1979, a typically cash-strapped 17-year-old high school student, Galton Blackiston, set up a stall at Rye market selling his own range of home-made cakes, biscuits and preserves. The range became known as ‘Galton’s Goodies’ and such was its success during that year that Galton abandoned plans to be a professional cricketer, deciding instead on a career as a chef.

Within two months of having made this decision, Galton had begun working in the Lake District at the renowned Miller Howe, finally working his way up to the position of Head Chef. With this also followed work experience stints in New York, Canada, South Africa and London.

Galton has held a Michelin Star for 18 years and become UK Craft Guild of Chefs ‘Chef of the year’, East Anglian Chef of the Year and a fellow of the craft guild of chefs.

Galton has appeared on Anglia Television, Gary Rhodes Food Hero’s, Market Kitchen, Great British Menu and is a regular on Saturday Kitchen with James Martin (BBC) where he’s always promoting seasonal and Norfolk produce. Galton will always tell people that there is “No finer area” than Norfolk.

Andrea Macdonald is the founder of ideaXme a podcast, ambassador and mentor programme which will soon launch as an engagement platform that anyone can join.

Moreover, she is passionate about creating deep connections that help both individuals and the collective human story forward. She has provided high level consultancy for charities, worked in the advertising, television, entertainment and marketing worlds, is an entrepreneur and advocate for people who’d like to set themselves free and move their lives forward.

Ana Guzman worked at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston for nine years. She started as an engineering technician archiving video downlink received from the Space Shuttle and International Space Station. During her tenure at NASA, she also worked with the public affairs and education offices as a multimedia and communications specialist supporting their outreach projects.

As part of the ideaXme team, she wishes to continue working in outreach and educating the public on different topics regarding all things space. Ana is currently working as a freelance video producer and also provides social media marketing services to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the Houston area. She also provides imagery research, organization and curating services to assist retired NASA personnel in preparing speech presentations and publications.

I’m on a mission to help humans feel better about being human. I’m the Founder of Recollect, an app and a counsellor.

I am building a new breed of mindfulness app that delivers the right thing, at the right time, so users feel better right away.

I believe that when people pursue the right goals, they feel more alive and on-purpose. I help people find out which goals are worth their time and energy—and how to actually reach them—in a way that is enjoyable and satisfying to them.

As ideaXme bravery ambassador, I interview exceptionally brave people to discover what it is to be brave and to share that with ideaXme’s audience to help them move forward.
